Kabir Singh is a Hindi remake of Telugu film, Arjuna Reddy. Arjuna Reddy was a massive hit in Telugu movie business and received all the acclaims and awards- all thanks to its heart-touching story. Yet again, the same director is making its remake in Hindi, Kabir Singh which is starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead role. Shahid Kapoor is playing Kabir Rajveer Singh while Kiara Advani is playing Preethi, who is his lover in the film. Kabir Singh Movie Storyline

The story basically revolves around a guy named Kabir Rajveer Singh who falls in love with a new admission in the same Medical College who is Preethi. Kabir Singh is a no-nonsense guy who always indulges in fights and loses his calm at even small things. When he falls in love after seeing Preethi for the first time, he warns everyone in the college and her class to not to look at her. And, the love story begins- both of them start spending time, Kabir saving her from some guys, and giving her Biology lessons. Till now, everything is fine but due to some circumstances, they get apart. The movie shows everything pin point copy of Arjuna Reddy but the Hindi touch makes everything more beautiful especially for the Bollywood audience who have not seen Arjuna Reddy. The camera work is fine and even better at times. The mistakes in Arjuna Reddy are rectified, I would say.

After both protagonists fell apart, the story revolves around Kabir Singh only. How he becomes a drunk lonely guy? How he can't leave alcohol and drugs? The next half is all about him and his friends take him out of his habits of drinking and having drugs. When the situation gets out of control, his medical license is canceled and he leaves for vacation. One day he finds Preethi sitting and gets to know that she left her marriage and Kabir is the father of her child. The second half of the movie is wild, destructive, all about love and what it can do to people if they don't handle it with care. Shahid Kapoor performs an angry young man with perfection. All thanks to the makeup artists and the team who make him look even destructive and hurt with his beard and style.

The music of the movie is grippy and suits every situation of the movie. Songs like "Bekhayali" and "Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage" have already become the favorite of the audience. They are listening to these songs again and again on Saavn, Spotify, radio, and YouTube. The upcoming music might be even more exciting seeing the music directors working on this project including Mithoon, Amaal Malik, Vishal Mishra, and Sachet-Parampara.

Critics are comparing it to Arjuna Reddy, again and again, saying that it won't recreate the same magic. For that, we just have to wait and see. Both movies are directed by the same director and this movie might rectify some little bugs and mistakes of the last Telugu movie. Talking about Arjuna Reddy, if this movie is even a hundred percent copy, still it will be a blockbuster. Arjuna Reddy was nominated for the "Best Film" in 65th Filmfare Awards South. Not only this, Vijay Deverakonda won the "Best Actor- Telugu" in the same award night. So, we can expect a lot from this movie that it will turn blockbuster too and create the same infinite magic.
